look the glasco one is mrcophth it is an membership.....
but the new on is frcphth ,,,it is followship and it = consulitant !!!!
iam preparing for it in egypt ......but i dont know where to go ..london or edenbra??
but it is the same books ...and mcq......

now no more mrcopht
unless u already cleared 1 n 2..mrc parts
its scrapped

frcs 2parts a and b..glasgow u can give ffrom india..

ico also 2parts- can give from india

frcs part a or ico part basics- one of these is enough..u r exempt from other

ico -if u clear clinicals u r exempt from mcq part of frcs b.but u ll still give clinicals and problem solving paper

they r all just an addition to ur degree..
ico -if u clear,u can apply for a observer fellowship abroad for 3 mon..which can b applied without ico also but u may have a little more preference

FRCOphth is th enew system just introduced..supposed to b very tough..no first hand info here..
