the bactericidal action covers all subpopulations of TB bacilli,but acts best on SLOWLY or INTERMITTENTLY(SPURTERS) dividing bacilli as well as on many atypical mycobact.

I REGRET! ans will b pyrazinamide.

i guess 4 sprtrs grwth occurs in spurts but they may not b slow growing!

RIFAMPICIN IS THE MOST POTENT ANTITB DRUG ACTIVE AGAINST ALL THREE FORMS E/C , I/C AND PERSISTORS.

few other pts abt rifampicin is that
IT IS THE BEST DRUG IN THE TREATMENT OF LEPROSY....not dapsone or clofazimine since rifampicin is the only one that is bactericidal in leprosy regimens
