thanks mam for such a promt reply.wil choosing sms over kgmc or BHU

for md path be a bad decision. |
Wont be bad decision if latest info says SMS is out to incorporate new technologies and devices.BHU
and KGMC are better labels to say but still it doesnt rule out that sms jaipur cant prove better. In ur case i wud say SMS is better since u have ties there and choosinG BHU
/ KGMC may not add proportinately a huge difference.Stick to ur guns , work hard while doing residency , u will be okay in SMS.

jobs:-
Pathologists( Hard-working ones) earn roughly 40000-70000/month 2nd-3rd yr post MD onwards, 5 yr post MD >75000/m. Data varies from state to state, i keep hearing that in Gujrat they dont reach this point as fast while metros are quite good about that.Laidback ones who take life as it comes may not reach beyond 25000 even 3 years post MD.
siya mam u wrote hard working pathologist...what is the criteria by which people having the same degrees r classified into hard working or LAID back
like i m a hard working person will be opting path in kanpur or allhabad .
so how do they judge u in 2-3 yrs post pg

Hard working ones take multiple attachments with heavy pressures of work , laidback ones simply stick to one job with nearly zero or signing authority kind of work.Hrad work in studies and hard work in pvt practice both are necessary , and both have different parameters.

BJMC Ahmedabad in terms of exposure is good ,and academics are better with NHL.BJMC generally send All india candidates to Cancer department ; it is certainly a good department but u land up getting training in Cancer Pathology
rather than general Pathology
, immunohistochemistry is available there; stipend range latest i am not really aware of but i am guessing it wud roughly 10k-12k or some thing cud be a lil less or more.NHL and BJMC both portray have been off and on hostile to north indians , few didnt have much untowrad experience. Jam nagar Rajkot and Surat i guess are at par and not better than Ahmedabad.Lets see if Aminhars has something different to quote here.u can have cumulative judgement after listening to him.If u get ahmedabad i shud suggest prefer it , BJMC and NHL both have own kinda disadvantges and advantages...

My apologies , i dont think i can shed light on these colleges , all i know and say is Gujrat is preferable to any place mentioned above , Stay away from PMC patna ( i cud be wrong , it is just based on what i heard)
you can take my word for that Gujrat is better than UP , Rajasthan
, MP , even some colleges of maharshtra.Ask aminhars for latest status of bond , i guess NHL doesnt have bond and BJMC has it.

Go for aneasthesia , with emergence of their ICU take-over , things have changed , i know few anesthetists who have ventured into pvt prcatice by opening ICU unit and hire MD just as visiting consultants. They arent wrong aneasthesia wud no longer be a non clinical branch , and if you play cards equally smart there is possibility of a better growth there in anesthesia, for women of course there is no bar but path defnitely proves cooler , i guess men can prefer aneasthesia over path.Cut practice actually kills in Pathology
and current ICU prospects wud change monetary definitions for aneasthetist for sure, but pathologist have blood bank as jack-pot in their hand similarly.still for men it is better now to pefer aneasthesia, for women i wud still say path wud be better.
