hello dr_shakrabanda u started this thread by sayng
"People pls put in aditional info on what went wrong .......is it the National Board of Examination responsible for the repeated bad performance by setting a tough papers as some have said or it is our own fault that we are not upto the mark."
so now u wanna be a dictator here telling us all the terms on how we should talk? yes this a forum n i dnt think i did ny wrong by telling u the problem with mci exam is tat we FMGE
dnt work so hard n take the exam for granted ...jst becoz i told u tat u did not read enough doesnt mean tat
i know it all n iam a genius "satisfy indivisual egoes,or to mystify personalites" hello who said tat!!!!!!!
u aksd people their view if i gave u a negativ thot why r u so taken back??? why didnt u start a thread askng for help for the buks to be read n how to prepare instead of askng for opinion when u urself cant take it!!!!!
or maybe u wanted people to tell u that o this indian govt is so bad askng us poor FMGE
such questions right!!! u expect the sc test to be of same level as it was three yrs back with same questions wow...i must say u will be a big cry baby when u come for pg exams my dear!!!! or maybe u will say tat u will prepare more for tat exam coz its more serious exam right!!!!! so then arnt u making the people who do mbbs frm india more superior in their knowledge than us FMGE
coz we also hav jst finshd mbbs same as them....wat do u think u wanna say now!!!
n yess if ny FMGE
has askd questions on hw to prepare i hav always come forward to help coz i passd my exam only coz of the help n advice given by others...maybe u should ask velocity80 with whome i personally had an argument earlier abt opinions, but abt help n advice he will tell u tat i was there for FMGE
n not agianst them....
you said
"'sharing your wisdon and nt ur pride"
i never posted one reply statng tat hurrey i passd n u others r fool who did not so dnt tell me i was showing off my pride alright...
ask for help if u want tat dnt ask for opinion then alright!!!!!!!

Hey guys, enough throwing brickbats at each other. What Suhasini was trying to say is that there is no use complaining now i.e. even if the standards of FMGE
HAVE been raised, there is absolutely nothing that a handful of us FMGE
's could do but actually live up those standards by studying even harder.Having said that dr_skharabanda you actually started an interesting thread and i think everybody has the right to express his/her views.
(I always knew i should've joined politics )
I already called it a truce with Suhasini and she's been really helpful with her invaluable ever since.Thanx again Suhasini!!!

U SAY YES TO VELOCITY80's proposal suhasini and i will nt post "my reply" to "ur reply" to my post.....though surely "vanity is my favorite sin " It may sound complex bt take my word if u may, it isnt..
And yeah thanx velocity80 for thinking its a interesting thread, and all the additional info and help is surely welcomed from all the u guys.....coz we poor FMGE
are also supposed to Register with the MCI.
It may sound authoritarian to some, if it may.Bt pls we have enough of criticism that FMGE
's dnt study and blah blah. For that kinda stuff their a POLL pls put ur vote.
And as far as additional info is concerned pls put something positive, and negatives that make the positive.I salute all FMGE
's who has cleared the MCI hurdle bt pls lend a helping hand and stop slapping.
Cheerz to all and waiting for a yes from suhasisni...three cheerz to u too my great doctor...

Hi all, I am a student of 5th course, and would be appearing in the exam in September 2008. Can some one (who has already appeared) please tell me,
1. How much time do we get during the exam?
2. Are pre-clinical n clinical questions separate or there is just one question paper?
3. Apart from studying (which is obvious) and practicing mcqs, what minute things should I put stress on? Like in what order should I be studying in order to make most of the available time.
For example I think I should be revising Anatomy
, microbio n Biochemistry
in the end coz there is much to “ratta-fy” than to understand.
I have some (12) target subjects which I would be studying. And I have decided to drop a few subjects. One of which is Ophthalmology
. But I realized that there were pretty good amount of questions from Ophthalmology
in the recent paper (even though we have been thru just about half of the question paper in the thread about the questions of march 2007). And, I have this bad feeling in my gut about this.
I wanna know from my seniors n colleagues, what do u think? Is my approach right? Please gimme some of ur expert advise!
I don’t wanna feel later (then) that I made a mistake (now).
Any advise would be appreciated!
