hi i am a 4th year student from china.i will be passing out in february 2008.Can anyone clear my Q's about internship

1.after completing the theory part of 4 and half years, do we have to go to MCI to "let them know" we completed?

2.is it posible for me to give march 2008 mci screening exam?

3.do we have to do one year compulsory rotating internship in china from february 2008?

4.If we have to do that extra one year internship in the country of graduation,is there any provision for us to transfer the internship to india so that double internship will be done in india itself(coz one year internship in china is said to be utter waste unless u have good command in chinese language)

i cant get updated from the MCI site.

hey,if ur chinese medical univ can issue degree completion certificate then MCI will allow to write sc with out ur internship in china.

let me answer all ur 4 q`s in a nutshell.as per mci screening test regulations,
"Primary Medical qualification" means a medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India which is a recognized qualification for enrolment as medical practitioner in the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated and which is equivalent to MBBS in India;
so u need to have a primary medical qualification before u want to apply for the test .but i am afraid that the 4 and half year course without internship in china is not a recognised primary medical qualification .so,it is compulsory for u to do internship in china before u apply for writing the test of NBME.and there is no such provision so that u can do double internship in india without doing it in the country where u studied medicine which in ur case is china.

but i have heard that some students from dalian medicaluniversity have gone to give their FMGE after comletion offour and half years without doing internship in china.and that they will do internshipof one year in india after completion of their FMGE .is it true

i am not clear about the term"degree completion certificate".actually when can we say that the degree is complete? according to mci, they say we must have completed our degree in the country of study itself..do they mean just the 4.5 years theory or 4.5+1 year internship?
yes our college will be issuing the M.B.B.S certificate if we can provide them with one years internship completion certificate either from nepal or india,they dont care anything about MCI clauses.
if the college is ready to issue the degree certificate by 4.5th year, i heard the indian embassy at beijing wont be attesting our certificate saying that the degree is not complete unless and until u do intern....
sooo confused in here...

i never heard such a news about dalian.anyway,i will confirm it by calling someone there and let you know.
we thought that we(xinxiang medical university,henan province)
zhengzhou medical university and yichang medical college were the first one to pass out from china.i never knew that dalain had indian students before us.Our batch started in sept.2003
as zhengzhou's m.b.bs program is of 4 + 1 they have already started to do there intern in china.they dont prefer to go to india or even try to do intern there.got no idea why!!
do you know when the first indian batch at dalian was started?

Anyway,Do anyone of u know abt the HSK test?Is it compulsory for us to write?Did anyone had passed ?

Dear shiva. The criteria for passing HSK depends upon the college.If it is a University then most probably you need to. Passing HSK is a hectic job.The test ,fully in Chinese characters,not a single word in english except the question numbers 12345....You should know atleast 3000-5000 characters to pass the intermediate level examination. I beleive Rubicon is an expert in "chinese"and he might be interested in writing HSK.Perhaps he can give much more details regarding this.
