First a big Thx to tinkerbell & drche for their help
The IV itself was pretty cool... very easy, infact Even though I did take ALL the necessary documents, including Employer's Letter & Latest pay-slip & Affidavit by my father( since he is my co-sponsor), the VO did't see anything. No question asked, no explanation sought, just scanned through my Forms & said, '' You got your visa. GL for your test, Enjoy!" and gave me a 1 year Multiple entry visa.
BTW I did mention (honestly) only 1 week stay for CS exam in my Form 156.
Gl to all.
Cheers.

Had similar experience, but gota visa only for 6 mo, 1 entry .
VO wasn't very nice n polite ! As soon as I approached her desk, she asked for my step 1 score card, when did I grad, What I have been doing since then ? n then vanished inside with all my paper for good 3-4 mins ( u can imagine my condition in that period ). After she came back, asked for all my college marks sheet n degree certs, scanned through 'em real hard, returned them back to me, n just called the next person in line. As she had rejected 2 appl in front of me, I was just happy that she didn't return my passport, though I wish she would have given me 1 yr multiple entry ..
By the way, I think it really really depends a lot on the person who is interviewing u. e.g in this case, I saw at other counters people were interviewed longer, they were given enough time, even if some docs were missing, the VO smiled, but finally gave the visa . The counter I visited had an Indian (NRI) VO, n she wasn't giving anyone any chance, no smiles ,no nothing, I was surprised by her behaviour as compared to other VOs.
But its Ok, all's well that ends --- !

thank u tinkerbell.
Can i ask u one more Q? ( This one is really stupid:)............
I ve booked a Hotel (on-line) in LA which is ~ 5.5 km from the CS Centre. Is this a good idea, considering the distance, especially since every1 seems to prefer the Haceinda(very close to centre, but a bit more expensive).....? any idea about the traffic & conveyance in LA?

Could you please tell me the address of the CS center.
I stayed in LA fopr 4 months.
So I may be able to give you a rough estimate of the distance/ time taken.
