I dont use IE. Its just that from the past two updated versions, i noticed Firefox has been eating too much of my Comp's memory.
I havent got FF 3 yet.

I am also concerned with the FF memory usage as i am on a low RAM PC. (512MB)
The high memory usage can be attributed to the Firefox Add-ons.
Still i would like to stick on to these add-ons bcoz they
automatically checks my ya hoo & google mails, tweaks the google searches, integrates the browser with Digg, stumbleupon & Delicious, backups up my bookmarks online, provides me enhanced security and gives me complete background check on the webpage i am visiting!
No other browser is this much handy. Internet Explorer has add-ons but they are still primitive, Opera has a number of built in functions but there are no add ons, Safari has no windows os add ons at all!

I have like 2-3 add-ons and a theme. Thats all, I like it simple. My PC RAM is 256MB. Plus I just got NOD32 as my antivirus. So far it's not hogging my PC memory.

I recommend the MythicalSirens theme. It sure does give a great look to FF.

Analyse websites via add-ons

There are many add-ons for firefox which can give us a complete report on a website, when they are used together.

Here's a screenshot of the Wikipedia page,

The status bar shows
the ip address and location of the web site's server,
the alexa rank of the website and
McAfee site advisors ratings which helps you to understand how safe is the website.

Here are the extensions,

1. Show IP
Show the IP address of the current page in the status bar.

2. Flagfox

4. McAfee Site Advisor

When you search with Google, Ya hoo! or MSN, SiteAdvisor's safety ratings appear next to search results.

A few hours back, i read an article which helped me to figure out a solution to this,
Firefox 3 Beta 4 is 3 times faster than Firefox 2 & it uses less memory.

Most of the independent analysts have confirmed these facts.
