I think GI symptoms like constipation may occur due to electrolyte disbalance, sp. hypo- or hyperkalemia
So is the answer (a)?

i know of a renointestinal reflux...inhibition of gasrointestinal activity,often blocking movement of food thru' the intestines due to kidney irritation...ref guyton...maybe renogastric reflux is something on the same lines
