Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and its projected to increase.
Global average air temperature near the Earth's surface rose 0.74 ± 0.18 °C (1.33 ± 0.32 °F) during the past century

I was tempted to read a book named as Apocalypse by Lawrence E.Joseph which has labeled 2012 as real risky year for Solar flashes ,rasing alarms for life on earth globally if ever it hits the earth .Scientists have serious concern about mounting 'anger' of sun and whole solar system is becoming inreasingly agitated.Coming years may have unprecedented turmoil and upheaval.

We could use resources properly, not waste any of the resources. Try to save energy, not collect any kinds of stuff.
Stop using plastics, use minimal processed foods.
the list goes on and on, and everyone, in their small ways can start doing something to reverse global warming.
Lastly, plant more trees.

How can we all make a difference we should think about that....
how about planting a tree.... if we all just plant one tree it will be around 200 trees....or maybe more...
if we plant a tree every month.... 200 multiply 12 2400 trees...
will it make a difference?

we always think abt planting bt it rarely takes its form. we should really take this seriosly and really start planting, after all we are inturn helping us only. i n some of my frnds have even planted several trees on road sides of highways during rainy season. n u knw people were staring at me that "what is they r doing?" bt the work brings u really great satisfaction that we are doing something of great use to everyone!

Greenhouse gases
Industry, agriculture, households and transport all produce greenhouse gases, including:
carbon dioxide (CO2)
methane (CH4)
nitrous oxide (N2O)

Greenhouse gases are also produced by:
agricultural soils
petrol and diesel motor vehicles
power stations and other industries that burn fossil fuels
some industrial processes
domestic heating appliances burning fossil fuels
peatland oxidation.
Other sources include landfills, wastewater treatment facilities, land use changes (for example to grazed pasture), fertiliser use and peatland drainage. Carbon dioxide is also released from the carbon stores in trees when forests are destroyed. This means we lose forests as valuable carbon ‘sinks’, which help to soak up greenhouse gases.
