How long will it take to reach the venue from some area called majestic in Bangalore??

With Bangalore's bumper to bumper traffic....2 hours at peak time(office time) and 1-1/2 hrs otherwise.

With all due APOLOGIES to the Organisers....this was the worst of all my AIOS that I have attended.Waited 2 hours in the que to vote and finally left without exercising my rights.
Rooms were small and the travel to the venue was hell.
Parking at the venue left most frustrated!!!
HOPE JAIPUR will be better!!!

I had similar feelings..
Being a first timer we had a lot of expectations but it was such a disappointment.
the organisers just didnt want the guset to feel at ease..
Banglore had a suffocating feeling with those narrow lanes called roads..
Small classrooms were turned into "halls"

Worst of all was yet to come when moderator of the trauma free paper session was selected the best presenter in that session. He himself had presented a paper!

Our state conference and the GSI conference were far far better than this AIOC 2008.

I think there should be a protocol fixed for NATIONAL CONFERENCES.
There is a lot of POLITICS involved.Who chose the "ORGANISERS"
If the MODERATER presents,it should be NON COMPETITIVE .....
I Was "not allowed "to Vote......NO PARKING.......
Yes...did try to enter those "HALLS(or rooms)"....NO PLACE.
I

And nobody is going to the bell the cat. It was my first AIOC and I had lots of expectations. But I found it hardly anything more than a trade exhibition. Companies were busy selling there products, our revered authors were busy selling their names and books and the organisers were busy selling their name as an event manager for the fathers prospective MBBS students who will cough up big money as donation for their ward to get admitted in a college which had hosted AIOC !!

The Indian Council of medical research has made it mandatory to have registration for all clinical studies .So if u want to present a paper ...first Register....the ICMR will approve...and only then u can do the research/study......!!theres a website for this
