As you all know cricket is just not a game in India...

its much more than that...

Infact its a religion... or rather can I say it is..'The religion'...in India.

As the indian team keeps playin cricket almost throught the year & we as cricket lovers follow the game soo very closely....

&&
bcoz of soo much of Cricket ther has to be atleast lil controversy icon_wink.gif
we dont need to worry abt that...

the Indian team is "kind Enuf" to keep us busy thro-out the year with the controversies surrounding it... most of the times for all the wrong reasons icon_wink.gif !!!!
But thats how it is...& we all still LOVE our CRICKET, dont we?

..... we do have soo much to discuss, dont we?

...for instance

-about the Umpiring in Sydney Test..

--about the ageing Steve bucknor..

---about the BCCI team selection

----Abt ICC & its policies (did anyone say racist icon_wink.gif )

-----Even the match scores at the end of the day!!!!

------Each & every dismissal Or the Even the Team Strategy!!!


Thats precisely why i've started this thread......
So that we as citizens of a cricket crazy nation do getta chance to voice our opinion....
So, i welcome you all to come out in the open & do express your thoughts about CRICKET..freely in this thread...
duznt matter if its abt indian , pakistani or Aussie cricket....
as long as its about Cricket your post will be Appreciated!!

BCCI asks team to leave for Canberra..

tour future yet undecided...

well guyz...BCCI is using its clout quite effectively & impressively!!!!

though the team has left Sydney for Canberra but still it seems the tour future is still undecided!!!

but its still being speculated whether 'Bhajji" will play the 'Perth' test or not?...

lot many things in the offing guyz....

I feel the contest @ 'Perth-the Fastest track on Earth' will be an absolute thriller!!!!

What say guyz???

Ya...by track i meant "pitch"...

"Perth".. aka WACA(Western Australian Cricket Association) has the fastest & bounciest pitch(on earth.)

So, the aussies usually schedule one of their test matches over there ...especially if the visitors are fr the sub-continent... to welcome em with some "sweet chin music"... icon_wink.gif

ICC asks Cricket Australia to Control its Men

This is perhaps the 1st time inthe history of cricket that ICC instructed a Cricket Board to control Its Players!!!

This happened bcoz
...this time what happened on field was shameful...
...the ongoing racism controversy....
Team India threatening to pull out in the midst of the series....
& the "all evident" un-sportsman like behaviour of team Aus lead from the forefront by its captain Ricky Ponting....

....Even senior Aussie cricketers have admitted that this has been a disgrace to Australian cricket...who love their cricket & who are known to play Cricket the Hard way...

Now--the Points to Ponder

1-Is this gentle warning enuf for an Arrogant person like Ricky Ponting?

2-Should Ponting be fined 100% match fee & banned for atleast 3 matches for falsely claiming to have claimed Dhoni's catch??
(Recall Rashid Latif of Pakistan was handed a 3 match suspension sometime back for similar reasons)

3- Should team-India be more ProActive in the Perth test & give it back to Ponting & his men in their own sweet way??
