The latest is that our hearing kept on getting postponed till today because of some high profile supreme court case being taken up by the same bench. From today onwards the court ppl are going on a vacation,i.e., the court will be closed for the month of May. We shall still try to persuade them to take up our case (some emergency cases are heard during the summer break). But slim chances we'll succeed. Please do not contribute any more. We do not see any point in approaching the sr lawyer now. Boxer, please stop asking for money.

The fact is my dear friend dat even though its common knowledge dat there was indeed a major fraud by dmer n its not da issue of financial support either........but v dont want 2 rely on dis typical INDIAN JUDICIARY known 2 give us little but further DATES........

when students were fighting 4 der just rights da case outcome had a direct bearing vit the very existance of dmer.......if a major jumble were 2 b exposed the dmer cudnt backtrack or give any excuse coz its competent authority had already issued the notice claiming dat verification, cross checking n all such stuff was done n der was no error.

it was 2 tough a battle vit a corrupt n financially strong dmer vit all big legal brains at their service n all political n high profile heavy weight backup.....vs them were us helpless docs who insisted on fighting vit the rightous path!!! n whose main concern was 2 arrange funds 4 next hearing .......dmer didnt hav 2 defeat them ......they only had 2 hit them hard where it hurt da most ie economically n prolong n postpone da case so dat a time comes when students give up feeling frustated!!!

even MAHABHARATA was not won by PANDAWAS by just means alone.......so instead of filling lawyer's pockets ,bribing da dmer insiders, abducting some high profile officers, violence ,threats n other such radical measures r only ways dat v can seek justice

......I might sound out of my mind n frusti but dats da HARSH REALITY

.......IF V cant do such extremist measures its better 2 forget dat traumatic incidence as a bad chapter of life n move on coz everything is for s.a.l.e these days n going 2 courts gives u nothing but dates!

Hey boxer, this is Spriha here, one of the account holders. I asked you to stop asking for money because we have just enough right now to pay the jr council. If more ppl contribute, we'll have to return the money. Its cumbersome and worthless. The case is as good as dead. We did all we could. If its not something else then I believe the court is just too foolish to realize the importance of our case. I don't think they've even understood the case yet! Its silly but thats the way it is. Don't fret.

New Rule: BOND – Maharashtra P.G. Rs. 15 Lakhs.

Dr. W.B. Tayde, Director DMER told Times of India (Dated: 14-05-08) as follows:

1. Bond for Post Graduate Medical Students from this year is Rs. 15 Lakhs (Rs. Fifteen Lakhs) or serve one year rural (village) service.

2. Local collector will be appointed to recover the amount of Rs. 15 Lakhs from the Doctors.

3. Super specialty courses will have to serve a two (2) year rural (village) bond or a penalty of Rs. 25 Lakhs (Rs. Twenty five Lakhs).

4. Rules have been made more stringent as “Medical Officership” is necessary due to outbreak of diseases in villages.

Hence, be better informed before taking Maharashtra P.G. Admission.

Above rules are applicable, whether you take admission in Maharashtra , through All India (AIPGE ) or DMER.
