GM 316......AM NOT ATTENDIN COUNSELLIN COS I HAV OTHER OPTIONS...DR FIRAZ MY COUNSELLIN ON 5TH........DO TELL ME IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF ME GETTING MASTERS AMONGST MAHE

heard all nri masters taken within 45 rank is it true? also no. of seats decreased!!!

Hi Dr.Firaz...
I'm Manikandan... My NRI rank 22... And I have taken Gen Medicine at Mangalore... This time 10 Gen Medicine seats were given under NRI ( 5 - Manipal ; 5 - Mangalore ) .The person just before me took the 5th Gen Medicine seat at Manipal... So I've taken the 1st Gen Medicine seat at Mangalore... I had 2 M.D Peadiatrics and 2 DMRD and 2 M.S O.G which i did not expect...
My Comedk rank is 183... People say that I might get Medicine at Davengre or J.S.S... Is there any chance i might get Gen Medicine at Manipal... Is taking seat at Davengre or J.S.S better than Gen Medicine at Mangalore... Pls let me know...

You could possibly get masters in Psy, Ophthal, ENT
etc by the 2nd or 3rd counselling in general category. I couldn't quite get your category, if you are in general then NRI category is not possible for you, so why bother about chances there?

First of all CONGRAGULATIONS!!!
Coming to your query, I don't think you can change your campus once you've joined. So you'll have to either continue MD Medicine at M'lore, or opt out of the course to join COMED-K. Mangalore is good in terms if patient load. Personally I feel KMC is the best amongst private medical colleges for almost all the PG and UG courses. JSS is good, but never better than Manipal. JJM is just average.

at rank 93 all masters and diplomas were over. in one rank there were two and more people were also there. ranks after 93 were not called.
Dr.Firaz please tell whether all these people who got selected stay back or some leave? what is the usual trend? if a masters person leaves then whether the diploma person is given a first choice to take that masters or other people are given first choice?
