I heard that a person from BCC or BCM community could have opted for BC general quota in the application form.... is it true...?

Hi Docs,

If the case verdict is given in favour of non service candidates or for the non recognised seats that will be released in second counseling, wht will be the method followed?

should all the alloted candidates leave their seat and take up a new one or those who wish can retain their seats?

someone throw light on this issue.......pls

My friend whose father is a lawyer told that a person from BCC or BCM can opt either for BC general or BCC/BCM.... he said thats the way they do it Andhra ....

Hi pendid, i dont know whether what my friend said was true .just wanted to confirm.......
during the first counselling i think some of the BCC/BCM candidates were more affected because they could not opt for seats in BC general Quota though their ranks were higher.... moreover there were many specialities where there were no seats alloted and they had to compete in OC...for eg. DA.., DCH,DGO for BCM etc.. this was supposed to be a reservation but it has resulted in only 10 muslims & 11 christians being in the first 492 seats(apart from OC) which is much lower than previous years ...... and if this is the way they follow in UG admission then the goverment is indirectly saying that only 3.5% of christians and muslims in backward community should become doctors ... do u think this is fair?

ACTUALLY THE BCC AND BCM SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO TAKE SEATS IN BCC AND BCM QUOTA ONLY.BUT THE FACT IS THAT HERE MANY OF THEM R THERE.INSTEAD OF FAVOURING THEM THE RESERVATION POLICY WENT AGAINST THEM.IN MEDICAL FIELD THE RESERVATION WONT HELP THEM.IN OTHER FIELDS IT MAY HELP THEM.THE GOVT SHOULD THINK ABOUT THIS.

the case against exclusive reservation was not taken up today. the hearing is tmrw. so..... expecting tmrw to be the JUDGEMENT DAY.

The case did not come for hearing today. It is postponed to 25/4/08. This is what i heard.

IS IT LIKE "NAALAI GANAPATHY KALYANAM"?

Are they trying to post pone it for one week and then say it will be taken up after MAY VACATION? Is that their plan? GOD ONLY KNOWS
