orthopaedics ,GS,Dermatology ,TBCD,Anaesthesia ,Psychiatry ,DCh,DMRD,Ophthal,ENT .

i dont agree that ms ophtalmology is better than dch....guys u need trememdous equipment for ophthal for private practice

infact now the trend is only towards medical faculties
ur earning r at par compared to surgical feilds
in surgical faculties if u hv a gud private set up then go ahead but that too with lots of tensions i feel

what is the cut off for clinical seats in appg cmg counselling on 21 april

what r u expecting?

which college is gud for which branch

and also give 1 to 5 top earning branches in this counselling.

hi guys,

the order of preference for various branches can be best analysed by looking at the allotment list of this years All India PG counsellling.. having attended the counselling myself this year, i would like the order of preference this way..

radiodiagnosis> medicine > orthopedics > paediatrics > obs gynae > dmrd > anaesthesia/gen surgery > dermat > ophthal > ENT > psychiatry > dch > DTCD > pathology > SPM > DGO > Pharmacology ... rest...

it may raise the eyebrows of a few, but go thro the allotmnent list at mohfw dot nic [no ads please] website u will agree with me...

paeds was less preferred by rankers in top 100.. and dermat was preferred over other major subjects..and gen surgery for sure is losing its sheen and its definitely as popular as it is in Andhra i guess...it is generally preferred when radio, orthopaedics , paeds and medicine are over...
