hey thanks a lot
but the very reason why pediatrics is the top most branch in Andhra
pradesh is beccoz its only in Andhra
where even pedia guys r eligible for DM
in various courses moreover its terminal branch
yup surgery is a very glamorous branch to look at but has its own pitfalls
but the satisfaction which u get after saving a life by doing surgery is tremendous ask any surgeon
agreed dermat is a cool branch but there is always an iota of discontentment
when u see from satisfaction point of view
ofcoure each has his own opinion,i feel if u r a guy go for surgery,if u r a girl opt Dermatology
over surgery if u want a family life

hey the scope for ddvl is not as gud as other clinical diplomas
infact it is one of the least preffered diplomas, ddvl is not like dch or dgo or for that matter DA
this is becoz 1.its a diploma
2. most of Dermatology
cases as a matter of fact like scabies roundworms if nto psoriasis and others are treated by general physicians
3. thirdly even if u do md Dermatology
u hv to do cosmetology which will run into lakhs with laser equipment
so better opt for DCH or DA if possible for better prospects.

hey chaitu2020,
hearty congratulations for securing ENT
and that too in AMC great man
why do u want to take ophtalmology unless u want to do some charity work in future...do u have any clue as to how much slit lamps, lasers, phaco and eye equipment will cost u????atleast a cool crore...and then u have SHANKAR netralaya conducting free eye camps.
regarding Dermatology
it is for sure going to be a fading craze....its going to die down soon... MD in skin alone wont take u anywhere moreover u will hv to do cosmetology fellowship which will cost u lakhs and then u will hv to buy expensive laser equipment for electrolysis, moreover half ur practise will be going to beauty parlours, quacks promising quick cure, ayurveda care centres and not to mention general physicians who will
anyways tk care of infectious skin diseases.
ENT
is so much in demand with all microscopic surgeries and endoscopic surgeries coming up.
most of the neck and thyroid surgeries are now performed by ENT
surgeons
ENT
is now a terminal branch so if u knw ur subject well then sky is the limit, coz if u see there r very few seats for ENT
in any state(only 6 in ahdhra side i guess) and there are 6 times the same number of seats for general surgey
the upcoming facts show that now even most of the maxillo-facial surgeries which MDS do are done by ENT
surgeons
opening a clinic in ENT
will not cost u as much as a set up in ophtalmology or Dermatology
.
if u look around u, u can see most of the ENT
surgeons minting money just by seeing OP and doing minor operations..
so my suggestion is dont leave ur seat man,its upcoming for sure

mdrd ??? how many are successful in that dependant branch . You have to work under some shelter ( big set up) as an employe. So many people ( esp.obgs) carry their own machine. Pediatrics O.k. terminal and may be able establish satisfactory & definite practice. M.D. gen safest and surest way to establish practice even without superspeciality
