Hi. I am from South Africa and recently arrived in Auckland. Will take the NZREX in Sept. '08. Haven't started studying yet but will start soon. Anybody that can help with some tips or study material for these exams? Would also also like to join a study group of some kind if there are any?

hi there, welcome to auckland. where are you about? re: tips/ study material , you can get it from the mcnz-nzrex website where there is a list of books of what to read. i am going to start an attachment/observership in north shore hospital on aug 4th. im not having any study group at the moment cos im still working full time. it's hard to find someone that is at the pace at you in term of revising.

I am preapring for NZREX exam in September. I need advise on the books and where can I find past questions etc. Is the exam more like PLAB2 or USMLE Step 2 CS.

I appreciate any help.

hi there dr zaki and for the rest of those who are facing for NZREX, asking for past questions i dont think so it's that as available as other exams, please stop asking for that. if u want any reading reference, there is a study list available in MCNZ website and also some samples of question.
if u visit MCNZ, u realize that NZREX is 16 stations/questions OSCE .
