In this forum of only 4 or 5 members who are actively participating in the discussion regarding AIPGE , there is no concensus from where seats are to be given to the central quota. Some friends say the seats of OC donot belong to paticular group, and bcs are strongly opposing the allotment from their quota

Hi chinnibabu ,what ever you said is absolutely true and every one are aware of the fact that bc’s are strongly opposed to the AIPGE .
But we should not forget one thing that the seats do not belong to any group or caste. They righteously belong to the merit and so they are called the merit seats.
Any one getting a good score in the APPG should have the right to claim those seats .
But due to the hopeless roaster system followed by the reverse sliding , it seems in the last counseling only around 15% of the oc’s could get a seat in the counseling .That includes majority of the clinical diplomas and the non clinicals .
Infact the bigger problems here are the roster system and not releasing the key. for which we need to fight .

the rest of the ocs could get through the inservice quota. that may include another 10-15% at the most .

OCs are always at a loss...and if u are a boy the problem is more.....there are many guys who had a valid point regarding roster.....yes the roster system is very very bad....but if u go into the history of how it was brought into implementation by the high court u understand how difficult it is to remove this system....the bc friends oppose it as the double benefit in roster is not there in any other system...also there will not be any politicalwill to remove it because of their votebank politics...to go to court means u need few lakh rupees...this is the right time for the oc people to unite form a forum and fight for justice...i feel that along with those who gave their pg exam others who are going to appear for next year entrance should also join as they are the people who really benefit.....i personally saw the vc,dme,and other officials agree that the system has its defects....but for the highcourt order because of which they are forced to implement....one fact is that the roster was originally formulated ONLY for recruitment for govt posts OF SAME CADRE and was never used for student admisssions before implemenrtation in appg.....lets see what happens in the future

We should not forget that when there was the crisis in DECEMBER 07 there were only APJUDA there were no bc's or oc's in that , we all fought together . we are dependant on each other in many ways . this BC or OC is just when we are in the education . but once we start practicing later. We are all just practicing doctors and we will be needing each other for many reasons.

BC is just a reason for the politicians to survive . they are our good friends;they are just normal people struggling for their survival. our true enemies are the selfish leaders, who just to win their elections promise more and more seats for the vote banks.
And now its our turn to fight for our survival.we should not forget,

“In the Survival of fittest , only the strongest survive”. And their vote bank is stong.

But now “If we have a strong will to fight back, we will also survive”

Gone are those days when we can complain that some one has cheated us. These days the question is why did you let some one cheat you. Its considered as your weakness and not your kindness ![/b]

Why are the politicians against the CREAMY LAYER? If they are really dedicated to their caste , there will not be any question about the creamy layer being excluded . The recent news says that YSR is considering strongly to include the creamy layer in the OBC quota. how worse can these politics be?

DID ANY LEADER FROM A RESERVATION CATEGORY, EVER GAVE ANY STATEMENT THAT HIS FAMILY IS READY TO GIVE UP THEIR SEATS FOR THE POOR PEOPLE OF THEIR OWN CASTE ?

Considering our resources and political will ; the two basic things we can fight for are :

1) release of the key
2) most important, removing the Roaster system .

Bringing a big movement and fighting against the reservation system is a very tough job. right now we are just MBBS students who want some justice in our APPG entrance .

That is all our primary concern
