It is one of the chemical test available to identify the blood stains.
stock solution (which consists of leuchomalachite green+glacial acetic acid+distilled water) is added to few drops of the agent to be tested.
the slightly green coloured leco...... turns brilliant green when oxidised which occurs in the presence of blood or peroxide.
