it signifies smiley24.gif or smiley23.gif kinda voting i guess..!

nice idea.. will save lott of "appreciation" posts..
which tend to distract the thread....

something akin to the "thank you" option we were discussing....
so that only meaningful posts, pertaining to the topic..
get posted...!

the new version sure has some cool features....
waiting to "discover" more...! icon_smile.gif

It is now in public beta testing i.e. features would be evaluated based on public response.

Few changes made since launch:

1. Members only voting
2. One member = 1 vote

Changes requested:

1. Ability to change vote

Please file your bug reports or suggestions here in this thread.

I can vote for my own posts. It would be better if self voting is disabled. When i made the post it was already had +1 thumbs up. The i was again able to vote for myself!

P.S: This new system is a great idea smiley24.gif

This is a display bug we are aware of.

Self voting is disabled. You are not able to vote for yourself, your votes goes to the post above yours, but displayed incorrectly on your post.

The one who posted gets the credits.

Think of it like a rewarding the post you are on. The amount of tip or bonus is variable and is automatically calculated on the basis of your social rank (previously known as trust rank) in RxPG. This amount is in addition of what the topic starter gets from the already existing system of credits.

You can vote for any thread/post.

Please feel free to ask any more questions.

Credits are used to motivate and measure social activity in RxPG. There are some value added sections in RxPG which can only be accessed with a certain threshold of credits. As we are revamping the system, you would soon see more uses of credits in RxPG.
