till now i also used to believe that cmv should be the ans but is it like that.....
cmv causes retinitis and toxoplasma chorioretinitis and cmv infection occurs when counts are50 and toxoplasma when cell counts are 100 so infection manifests early

i confirmed with one of my aunt who's an opthalmologist, CMV is the most common cause of retinitis in pts with AIDS. however she said toxoplasmosis is the most common cause of RETINOCHOROIDITIS!
