Hi RxPG team,

It seems that the notification for UPPG - 2005 has been appeared in Dainik Jaagran, Meerut edition , 16/17th Oct. issue . From what I have heard, it seems that this time Medical College, Meerut is entrusted with responsibilty of the exams .The forms are s'posed to be available from 5th/Nov. onwards .

1) Kindly check out the details and inform us of the same .

2) The date for the exam's 16/Jan/2005. The date clashes with UPSC - CMS & SGPGI entrances. So is there any possiblity that the dates might be shifted (according to past trends,if any) or would they all be held on the same day ?

Kindly provide us with further info .

......ya even i hve heard tht 16 jan is the date of UPSC SGPGI n up pg

........now this is going to b very troublesome......besides if its true then i most probably wud not fill SGPGI form.....

.....if anyone has any idea abt whts going to b fr the dates .......kindly inform

don't lose hope. ppl are saying that the dates of UPPG and SGPGI may get shifted later 'cos UPSC came out earlier with their notification . what i am planning 2 do is fill all 3 forms. If dates don't get shifted ,of 'cos I wll stick 2 UPPG .

hey rxpg team , can anybody lemme know whether UPPG is beconing open fm this year or not . i had heard dat 50% seats wud b open fm this year . plz confirm . thanx

Hii Dolly,

Though i don't belong 2 the RxPG team,but as a UPPGE aspirant i felt inclined 2 respond 2 the post.

U should have seen the UPPGE notification in the newspaper. I don't know what u meant by "OPEN" but it specfically mentions tht only grads from "the govt. medical colleges of UP" & "pvt. medical colleges of UP & Uttaranchal" are eligible.
Still i guess u can fill the form even if u didn't graduate from UP 'cos later some1 may file a court case in favour of making the outsiders eligible & the courts have always been very very sympathetic to such types

Answering to the queries of both of you would make me quite unpopular among my batchmates,but still i will try to help.

If u don't have the domicile of UP/Uttaranchal or u didn't do ur MBBS 4m UP/Uttaranchal, then on what basis would you fill ,Dolly ? I don't think there would be any chance of ur form getting accepted .

What happened last year was tht ppl who are a domicile of UP (they prooved by showing their X/ XII marksheet) & did their MBBS from other states, filled UPPGE form & then got some court order permitting them 2 sit for the exam ,even when more such candidates (without the court order were been sent away from the exam centre itself ) .
So Amit, u might stand a chance but i don't exactly know how u can make tht possible

This year they are asking for photocopies of all the marksheets with the forms,so i guess they will weed out candidates at the initial stage itself.
