Tripathi's book on MCQs gives the answer as 'Hyaluronidase' & quotes Ananthnarayan as the ref but I didnt find any thing in th text.Also Harriputtar didnt come to the rescue..

staph aureus produces followin macromolecules and extracellular proteins :
Surface proteins that promote colonization of host tissues

Invasins that promote bacterial spread in tissues (leukocidin, hyaluronidase);

Surface factors that inhibit phagocytic engulfment (capsule, Protein A);

Substances that enhance their survival in phagocytes (carotenoids, catalase production);

Immunological disguises (Protein A, coagulase, clumping factor)

Membrane-damaging toxins that lyse eukaryotic cell membranes (hemolysins, leukotoxin and leukocidin).
