Hydrogen peroxide is used in all of the following chemical tests for blood except?
A) Benzedine test
B) Phenolphthalein test
C) Orthotoluidine test
D) Teichmann's test


I refered two text books by Dr.Apoorva Nandy and DrNarayana Reddy and I find that H2O2 is used in all of these tests

In Teichman's test we use
Glacial acetic acid+NaCl

Brown Rombic Crystals are formeddue to combinatin of Halogen+Ferriprotoporphyrin

There is no role of Hydrogen Peroxide in this test

if the question is about chemical tests on blood-shouldn't answer be orthotoluedene test?
its done on water.
or am i worng?

-Kasle Mayer test&
-O-touledine test is
"Blood contains Peroxidase vch in presence of hydrogen peroxide oxidises the active ingredients of test reagent producing charecteristic colour change"
