Help: Second page is not opening in Download section
Dear RxPG Team,

There is something wrong witht he download section. I recently submitted a few PDF files in the UK Exams section.

There are a total of 11 files and as all cannot be accomodated in a single page one file is in the 2nd page. However on clicking on the number 2 the second page refuses to open thus preventing me from seeing what is on the 2nd page. Could you please rectify this?

There is a way this can be overcome... for those of who are interested in downloading all UK related stuff. You can instead go to the section titled "New". The content of the second page namely the file: "Person specification for Orthopaedics" is listed and you will be able to download the file by hitting the download button.

The second problem arises here. Are yo listening RxPG Team?? The page displays an error on hitting the "Details" link to each of these new downloads. Could you please also rectify this?

Many of the broken links still persist in the Download section. Can you please remove them?

Thats all for today.

Dear RxPG team,

The other thing that I completely missed out on was about the two submissions I made.

Induction Package(2003) and Induction Package for Overseas Doctors (For NHS) are one and the same. Only thing is they are located at two different site. I believe you can remove one of them to avoid confusion.

Sorry for all the trouble.

Dear RxPG Team,

Well, the 48hr deadline is coming to an end and I do not see any reply.

Anyway the matter is not about deadlines. It may seem to you that I am griping about the same thing. I may sound a trifle irritating sometimes, but belive my intentions guys. I mean well... for yourself and for everybody. Of course, I am not walkign around with a halo over my head. My feet are well placed on the ground, and so I must warn you that somethings going wrong and if you are not turning your attention to it now it may grow into something into... something that will not only become umanageable but will develop a course of its own.

I have got another suggestion ot make. And yes, please do not groan, it is indeed about the Download section. The medical textbook section should have irts subsections, that is the subjects and the number od downloads available under each sebsection listef in the MAin download page itself. Otherwise the people will assume that ther are no downloads available under this section. This has been implemented well for the Indian PG exam section which hasd its subsections mentioned. As a result people will informed the right way.

JHope to hear form you guys atleast.

hi bdb,

we are still trying to sort it out.

Ok RxPG Team,

That much of an assurance is a comfort. Getting no replies to queries ans suggestions is like shouting loud onto a wall... which I am sure this site is not about!

All the best and if I can do something, it would be a great pleasure.

Gr8 RxPG Team,

You done a good job. The download section is atlast spruced up. i checked it up and all the wrong seems to be set right. Well done and keep it up! maybe a few of the links previously submitted are broken, and I hope this time when someone submits a broken link it will be checked out and taken care of. Last time I did submit many but none were set right. These are, I am sure minor glitches and will be taken care of. I am a believer not destroyer!

Just wondering about one small thing... why are you not announcing it, testing it (beta version) or once bitten twice shy!?

Thanks for the valuable feedback. Your constructive criticism is always useful for us.

Right now the download section is in beta (as you have rightly observed). The infrastructure is getting finishing touches. Thereafter we are giving mirrors to all the downloads here on rxpg servers and will give you an option of choosing between formats also (zip or plain). A new server is being set up for that purpose and the cleaning of existing downloads and scouting of new downloads is underway. We will formally announce when all the downloads will be working again.

Meanwhile, keep on doing the good work!

Thanks again

Dear RxPG Team,

Gr8 to see all this wonderful work being done. I did see a lot of activity in that particular section even after my last post. But I chose not to speak wondering if I was being more detrimental than helpful.

Anyway thumbs up!...no, both thumbs up!
