Hi ...

i am applying for step 2 for a july test date. and i'm having some probs with the application>>>>>

they ask for details of clinical clerkships . i have to fill months that i spent for eg. in medicine with name of physician incharge .
the problem is that in India our clinics start from 2nd year . and i used to have 1 months postings. so tht it is impossible for me to mention all the med. clinics i attended.

i do however have my medical school transcript that mentions total no. of hrs that i spent in particular deptts.

so shud i jsut leave the clinical clerkships part and sent them the transcript .

anyone ??

the last date is far away....but i will be going to my college in 2 days...and since they need Dean's signatures and stuff ...i have to have the rest of te app completed by then

this is not a big deal.just fill in that part the postings attended during ur intern year.that is for sure.

u have to mention all clinical postings in application.u can get these from school.if u dont exactly remember,just give rough dates and fill them up.its just a formality and ecfmg doesnt check whether these ar correct or not.in any case even ur college will not have any record of ur postings.so fill dates by making intelligent guessess.its not a big deal in mle application

hello ppl

i finished my application .

now the times i have bungled up >>>>

the name of my college in their records is now ****** poatgraduate institute .....call that typo or what !! they said...u shud check everything "carefully" ..but me ...nope ...

my certification statement is refusing to get printed on a single page . shud or shud i not stick is the question . !!!

oh and i filled in my internship postings in the clinical clerkships ....hope that works out ...thanx karan.

i'm wondering if they are ready to take a doc. into their country who can't even fill forms properly

if there are any othr ppl like me ...who hate filling apps....well welcome to the club....and pray that they accept my application
