New feature - Cross-posting - offbeat
RxPG is the largest website in its niche and hosts several hundreds forums for almost every exam or issue a young doctor might face. However sometimes the number of forums can overwhelm the newbies, who might end up posting in the wrong forums. Also our members sometimes post the same topic across multiple forums to get more exposure to their topic. However such actions cause inconvenience to other members and generate a lot of work for our moderators.
To solve this problem we have again thought outside the box to come up with an innovative little feature called cross-posting. Cross posting would allow your message to be displayed across other forums, if it is relevant to that forum. See it in action below (message posted in AIIMS forum can be seen in AIPGE forum).
To cross post your message, just include the name of the other forum in your message title, and it would show up in other forum(s) as well after a few minutes.
Please feel free to leave your feedback here.

Hello Team..
A very good feature indeed, thanx for the innovation.!
Useful threads can be explored by members visiting other forums as well..
i just have a query..
there are a no. of old threads which have common content..
useful for AIPGE/ AIIMS/ DNB/ PGI exams etc...
can Mod's/ Team edit thread titles of such threads to enable cross posting..?
or simply put, can this feature be useful retrograde too.??

Excuse me @RxPG_Team but i'm not able to follow how to do this cross posting in an already existing thread... Can you pl elaborate it?
BTW, great feature, this and the other new ones like browsing history, top posters, moderator's picks etc... Makes RxPG all the more addictive... Keep it up

Let us give you an example - suppose you want to post in AIPGE forum, but also want the post to feature in USMLE forum, then make sure that the word "usmle" is included somewhere in the subject line (title) of your thread. This only works for new threads, not for replies to an existing thread.
P.S. Note that we have now included the word 'offbeat' in the title of this thread for it to be featured in the offbeat forum here Only RxPG members can see links here! Register or Login!

Now i get it... Thanks @RxPG_Team for the clarification... One more doubt, does this feature work for multiple forums?

It is because forum pages are using RxPG 2 version and the zone pages are still using the RxPG original code. The zone pages would shortly be upgraded to RxPG 2 version.

Ok. Thanx for the reply..
I should have guessed that, cuz even as forum pages adapt to all recent features..
e.g. Mod's picks.. the Zone page has hardly changed..
Looking forward to a fresh new look i.e RxPG 2.0
Keep up the good work.!
