Hi all, I am planning to take part in the MRCS exam next january. I wonder if i am eligible to take part in both parts simultaneously. I have no specialized work experience in surgery but was accepted in paediatric training post back home.

I would appreciate it if any body could give me more information.

I am also looking for a study partner to satrt preparing for MRCS 1 and may be 2 for next Jan.

No need for any experiance for Part 1Exam but you can't take both parts in one time.

I'm planning to take both parts in April. I could find no mention in the regulations that I can't take both parts together at the same diet!! unless they are conducted at exactly the same time of that day. Any comments? I tried to email the college but nobody responds.

Anyone can appear in part-1 but part -2 requires 24 months of bst- even backhome tarining surgical post is counted

I will appear both IMRCS in 2006 JAN. Both can be sit at the same time & I think it is better.BUT YOU HAVE TO FINISH PART (3) IN 2 & HALF YEARS AFTER THAT.
