Hi guys...
I have been shortlisted for GPVTS in West Mids Deanery ...I am not keen on doing GP as a career....but i need another job b4 i can leave this one....can u tell that if i accept VTS post and decline it later in favour of another job before joining it, will that be alright? Esp if i give one months notice..?
Any ideas and suggestions much appreciated...

r u crazy man many people would dream to get ur chance if u r not working and this is ur first job go for it .
but the question why did u apply if u dont like gp, u took somone else place thats not fair dude

That is very bad People like you should be reported to the GMC who apply for jobs that they are not interested in just to get in the system and then leave them later

I do understand your anxiety.
One thing is that being a GP is worthwhile only
if you have a genuine interest.
You could still apply for your choice.
Don't attend the interview or
attend the interview and then reject the offer
or perform badly so that you don't get selected
but accepting and leaving maybe difficult.
Anyway if you plan for speciality better go for it.

Not only you should be reporteed to the GMC but you WILL be reported. The GMC takes a very strong stance on this and you may get blacklisted as being untrustworthy. So as a rule do not go to an interview if you don;t want the job,.

In any case think a bit further. Next interview, they will ask you why you keep changing your mind! And what will you say then?

mr.ali,,,why are u smoking the situation with ur self created esteems and threats,i think if he is having a problem then it does not mean to threat him but to reply in a possible kind way ,coz it is a forum for discussion and chatting not for threateners like u...hope u got me .khuda hafiz

u still can reject an offer then.
and stop listening to all this crap about ppl trying to report u. there all like me....no job nothing to do...so trying to scare u and get the mickey out of you...
