I was misled by your writing. You wrote that you applied in 6 deaneries for Feb rotation. The new statement makes some sense. I know about people who got Feb rotation in Wales.

hi guys, i applied for 3 deaneries but did not put any preferrence. i am living in sussex, i got short listed for KSS deanery and got the job in feb, i was in the waiting list for longon deanery but never got called and form south west i was not shortlisted(they have apparently not taken into consideration applications of applicants who had not put southwerst as the first choice and so has yorkshire i hear).

in KSS i was told at the interview that there was 500 applications and around 150 were short listed for about 75 jobs. i was short listed for the Brigton interview and there was 52 candidates for 26 posts, i got my first choice that being eastbourne. i thought my chances were slim seing how all the people who were there at the interview had jobs and were way more experienced than me, i know some registrars from medicine and paeds got shortlisted for Brighton as well. GPVTS is getting very competitive now cause for many who have reached a dead end in their careers in other fields reach for GP.
