wait till tomorrow, whole of our team is working on this for a week now. Although it is a problem generated by your internet service provider (it occurs when they change their ips frequently), we are working a way around it on our side. It is a difficult problem but we are hopeful to fix it soon.

How to get rid of that "invalid session"?
how to get rid of that "invalid session"

RxPG_Team

RxPG team is working hard to get a solution for this problem. Actually this problem is not because of the site. It arises because some internet service providers change their IPs every few hours. But we are working out a way to get around it.

Meanwhile we would request anyone having this problem to post a message in reply to this topic, so that we can have the userids who are facing this problem and help them.

Before pressing the submit button for your post, please copy and save the matter you have written. If invalid session occurs, just refresh the page and post it again.

The problem happens

1. In the first post I make after logging into a different system than the one I previously posted

2. When I post using the Quick reply after posting a previous message with the "reply" button and wise versa

3. I don't think that this is due to changing IPs..... I have seen this happen even in Broad Band Connections

Our team has fixed this problem on login name basis. If any body faces this problem, then please leave a message for us and we will fix that.

Me too...
Hey RxPG,

I have this problem in both Broadband and regular connections. That too, both at home and at browsing centers.

It's really annoying and had to keep myself from posting for two consecutive days after typing in a lot.

'chachoch' is the username.

Cheers

its surely happening to me also.

but thankfully i can "go back" , save the post and re-post it again.

i think it might be happening becoz, the site "times out" the user if he/she is inactive for a few minutes or so..i am not sure though..

Well we have the time out information set for 13 years, so it wont time out if you finish your message before becoming a consultant or a preofessor.

The main reason for this error is dynamic ips used by some internet service provider. This forum identifies you by an IP address and allocates it a session ID to ensure that you are the one who is writing the message. But then while you are typing the message, your internet service provider changes its IP, and the forum refuses to identify your session as valid session.

We have developed a work around the problem and anyone who faces this problem can use the feedback form to report this error to us. We will apply this fix to their accounts and you won't have that problem again.

Hi Aujla, Even i face the same problem sometimes, mentioned by you. It was bad, that after writing a long message it got lost in cyberspace. May be some internal error in the rxpg servers.
Nowadays for every answer that i post, i always copy it either in memory or notepad, and only delete it once i get a conformation of "message sent".
For computer novices please select the entire text and press "ctrl + c" and after that press the submit button.
If it is sent no problems, but if the server plays truant and it says session expired, you can always go to the compose message and press the keys "ctrl + v".
Hope this helps.
