Hi ,iam a E.N.T surgeon from india with more than 10 years experience which includes 7 years teaching experience in medical college.Now i got immigration to canda and iam planning to move in october/november2004 to Canada
.What are the prospects for overseas doctors like me with experience to settle as practitioner in Canada
?Am i suppose to clear all the exams?
Also,Please advice regarding what to do to start ,after landing in Canada
.

being a pg u can get a rural job under supervision till u clear all the necessary mcc exams---- easier said than done, mate

If u Can elaborate on ur statement(PG can get rural suprvised job)like which provinces/areas/Hospitals,whom to contact,any agencies etc it will be of great help.

I noticed them, couple of times, drifting thru, Canada
IMG forums/ sites. But I'll post the websites when I come across them again. Concentrate on Manitoba & Sasketchawan, esp former . It has a govt supported rural program for overseas docs.

just a fact abot carms,
out of thousands of application only 30 per province are read and considred for any interview.then finally only those 18 are selected for residency whose are top scores and have passed all four exams.
