guineaworm has already been eradicated -india declared free in 2000.

Yes, Atkins.Measles is definitely NOT eradicated.It is a disease which is possible to eradicate as there r NO subclinical cases or carriers but it has NOT yet been eradicated.
Even after the recent Tsunami, WHO has expressed a fear abt an outbreak of measles in the areas.Also if it has been eradicated, how come MEASLES VACCINES r still being given routinely??
Pl verify again & tell me.
