Quick Scroll FAQ: Is Salgunan a must for Indian PG Entrances? 01.21.05 (3 years ago) #1

What I’d like to know is,can u afford to go to the entrances without having a look at Salgunan ?I’m rather put off by the book, esp. since it has this irritating habit of putting in prehistoric questions from the 70’s,stuff u can’t find the answers to..unless u’ve got access to a good medical library with even better archival facilities icon_evil.gif
I’m more of an Amit/Ashish follower. Will reading this book alone be enough before the entrances?Or is Salgunan a must?

i think Salgunan is essential - in fact a corrected Salgunan is essential-- anybody who has landed a well corrected Salgunan from a senior with a good rank knows wat a gold mine it is

i think Salgunan is essential no matter what, like, it makes u know almost all that is required to cross 50%, of-course to get a good rank u need far more than Salgunan .

try CROSS SECTION instead, seems to have far lesser number of mistakes, and most questions have the references, so can always double check.. just to be sure!!

Cross Vol. - 0 . the book's really thick but the print & layout's neat .

Only prob. is tht just every1 around does Salgunan , so goin' against the trend feels scary .

As for the "pre-historic" ques. , a lot of such questions r asked in the state PGs.

Since time's running out now , I did rather stick to Salgunan .
