Being denied a visa for CSA is a very common. Some FMGs are enrolling into nurse diploma programs, one in St. Petersburg Russia , in English, for purposes of earning a nurse diploma recognized by CGFNS. With the nurse diploma and passing CGFNS, employment as nurses in the US can be obtained, with a green card, at no charge to the doctor. Once in the US, with the green card earning a good salary, the CSA can be taken, and if the ECFMG certificate is earned, the doctor can accept any residency he or she can obtain because they have the green card. Possible? Doctors are enrolled and receiving instruction for the nurse diplomas in several countries, as well in the US. Information is available which permits the FMG to independently verify the claims, and doctors already enrolled in the programs can be sent email queries about their personal experiences.

For doctors who have been denied the visa for CSA, it is a viable solution to a common problem.
