Dear Azeem,

I've sat for DCH in Glasgow 2 yrs ago. Fairly simple xm compared 2 real membership xm.Unfortunately,it's not directive towards GP traineeship coz the question and cases may mimic membership xm. The cases comprise of short cases, what I've got b4 were cyanotic spells in baby of 6 month old, Prune Belly syndrome, Chronic lung disease, eczema and examination of head. Thinking back, it's not difficult but u need to know ur stuff. Even lots of my collegue got DCH easily as prepatory towards MRCPCH .

Then second part would be viva. They might ask u anything but pls prepare for childhood obesity coz it's a hot topic. Other issue were if I were a doctor in rural are of scotland and delivering 25 weeker plus pyloric stenosis value(of Na, HCO3 etc) of hyponatraemic hypochloraemi metabolic alkalosis.

Good luck!! icon_rolleyes.gif
