How much do we get paid during residency in America?
Do we get stipend/ any sort of salary during
residency? If yes, how much is that? Do we have
to pay any kind of tution fee during residency?
Are there any kind of accommodation facilities like
hostel etc for foreign students? Is the residency
program any different from here in India? Do
they teach us there? What about jobs after
residency?
What are the expenses to live in America during residency? food, accommodation, etc.

It also is very variable based on which program and state you end up in. However, some programs also include other things, such as food stipends while you're at the hospital.

average pay for residents rangers from 4000$ to 7000$ .
the lowest pay is in the northeast , while the highest paid programs are in the pacific northwest.
many programs in north east, such as ones in new york provide accommodation at a highly subsidized price, so that saves the resident a lot of money.
average working hours range from 60-80 hours per week during residency.

This is highly variable but the going rates are 2500-3000 USD after taxes. A significant amount of this will go in paying for rent and utilities.

There are wide variations of this depending on which program you go to, whether it is a big university affiliated program or not, whether it is located in or near a major city, whether they give signing bonuses and other pay outs, what specialty you are in.

It is not uniform, in short, but if you live a moderate frugal life, you can easily make do with the kind of money they give.
