A patient has grade II power in gastrocnemius, grade III power in peroneus, grade IV power in tibialis anterior after an attack of poliomyelitis. The most likely deformity is:
a. calcaneo valgus
b. calcaneo varus
c. equino varus
d. none of the above

Ans: (b)
can someone explain the concept used.

first of all,lets see the actions of these mus,
gastrocnemius-causes plantar flexion
peroneus-eversion
tibialis ant-dorsiflexion and inversion

here,both gastrocnemius and peroneus are comparatively weaker to tibialis ant.

so,the action of tibialis ant predominates,i.e the foot is in dorsiflexion and inversion...

so,the deformity appears as calcaneovarus.
