ADMISSION INFORMATION FOR P.G.(MD/MS) DEGREE/DIPLOMA COURSES – 2005

With reference to the JIPMER Postgraduate MD/MS Degree and Diploma courses admission, it is informed that the following P.G. seats are vacant:-

M.D. (Physiology ) - INST - 2 Seats

M.D. (Community Medicine) - INST - 1 Seat

M.S. (Orthopaedics) - INST - 1 Seat

The following P.G. seat is also vacant and the waiting list are as follows:-

M.S. (E.N.T.) - INST - 1 Seat

All the interested Wait-listed candidates for M.S. (E.N.T.) should be present exactly at 9.00 a.m. on 31st May 2005 at Dean’s Chamber.

The M.S. (E.N.T.) seat will be filled as per the waiting list number among the candidates who are present.

The M.D. (Physiology ), M.D. (Community Medicine) and M.S. (Orthopaedics) seats and any other seats which may fall vacant and which have no waiting list will be filled on the basis of merit in the concerned category out of the qualified candidates who are present in the Dean’s Chamber at 10.00 a.m. on 31.05.2005 and if they are offered that seat, they should join immediately on 31.05.2005 morning 10 o’ clock itself and under no circumstances time for joining the course or production of certificates will be granted.

If no Institute Category Candidates exercise option for the above seat(s), the seat(s) will be allotted to the SC/ST Candidates as per the marks obtained by them on the combined merit list.

The candidates are further informed that they should bring all the original certificates of Educational Qualifications, Residence and Community Certificates (Residence & Community Certificate should be recent one issued in the last 3 months). Candidates should present themselves in person with all the certificates.
