Water’s view
It is also called as occipitomental or inclined posteroanterior view.It us the best view for visualising maxillary and anterior ethmoidal sinus along with the floor of the orbit and frontal sinus.

Caldwell’s view
It is also called as occipitofrontal view It is the best view for visualising maxillary and frontal sinus along with the floor of the nose.

Base view
It is also called as submentovertical view or jug handle view,It is used to visualize structures in the base of the skull and the structures of the skull. Structures which are visualized are medial and lateral pterygoid plates,foramen of the base of the skull,pterygopalatine fossa,frontal sinus,bony Eustachian tube.

Lateral view
It is used to visualize the pterygoplatine fossa,hard palate and the posterior nasopharyngeal soft tissue shadow.it is the only view which shows the length and depth of the sella turcica.

Optic canal view or rhese view
It demonstrates the optic foramen or optic canal it also visualizes the frontal sinus,along with the ethmoid air cells and the ipsilateral sphenoid sinus.

Pierre’s view
It is also known as water’s view with mouth open,it visualizes axial projection of sphenoid sinusis projected through open mouth,the antra and nasal fossa are also demonstrated
