do u have reading list from apec? try to get that. i m using many books and soem websites.that details i can send if u need,let me know what inofrmation currenly u r having, so i don't reapeat that.what r u taking exam> this year or nest year? which place?how may papers?

i am planning to give exam in next year (2006, sept,)now i am in saudi arabia so the exam place would be in saudi only and at present i only having list of reference books and subjects to be covered in this exam.and general procedures i learned through apect web site thats all i know about. so pl. let me know what are books ur studying and what are the websites useful for this whether we can get previous model questions or question bank or guide or any of its kind to follow the reading method.

good to hear from u too.ok, i m taking exam this sept. last march i did take stage 1 exam from which i have cleared paper 1 and couldn't clear papaer 2. so i will reappear fro paper 2 this sept. ok, as u r taking exam next year u have lots of time for preparation.now, first u start reading cology and chemistry,sp. those books u used for ur graduation. i did same way. i help u too refresh both subject. now , to start preparation for apec, u need to have some books whxih can prepare u for this exam. one, i did u se was dr. mohhamed ali's "objective pharmacy",it's from birla publication,new delhi.from inida. i must say it's really good. another one is appelton and lenge's review of pharamcy,must to read for apec.leon shergil's comprehensive pharmacy. and also from apec u can buy bio pharmaceutics and claculation package,which is 120aus$.so more detail u can get from web site.get oreder form from apec and place oreder for that.ok, web site are

HI Shefali

It was nice to have atleast couple of people talking about APEC stage 1 exam. As per my understanding you were appearing for APEC in sep 05 for one paper. i hope it went very well for you. i am planning to give my first attemp in March 2006. i'll appreeciate if you can guide me for the preparation. so far i have been reading leon shargel's comprehensive pharmacy reviw and updating some phsiology. i have got CAL package from APEC. I want to practice some multiple choice questions. so could you help me in fiding resouce for that?

HI

I am based in Australia. and taking my APEC stage 1 in march 2006. i studied leon shargel, still have not finished appleton and lange. i would strongly recoomend the package from APEC which covers biopharmaceutics and calculation. it is very helpful and easy to understand. i will know after 1 month that wht is the waitage of this package in exam.u must be having the order form in ur documents sent by APEC along with the application form for exam.

how r u, thank u for ur kind reply, best of luck for ur march exam, do well, and as u are in australia, i wish to ask u one think about our practice in australia, i mean whether we will get prescription only with dianosis and we will rationalize medications or with medications with dosage , pl, clear me regarding this. what is exact part of us.

Is it possible to sit for one paper on the fist try and for the second, on the next try?
Now that you have given your exam what references do you recommend?
