1. Admission will be subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility requirements as confirmed through
verification of original certificates and marksheets etc. Verification of original documents will be
done on June 21, 22, 23 and 24, 2005 between 10.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. and between 2.30 p.m. and
4.30 p.m.
2. The candidates are advised to collect the letter of acceptance from the Section Officer (Academic) and
return the same to her duly filled in on or before Friday, June 24, 2005 upto 05.00 pm.
3. Payment of Fees: On completion of the verification of original marksheets, certificates etc.
candidates will be provided with a Bank Challan for Central Bank of India, Deonar Branch,
Mumbai, to be filled up and submitted to the Deputy Registrar (General Administration) with a
Demand Draft of requisite amount.
4. Bank Timings: 9.00 am to 2.00 pm (Mondays to Fridays) and 9.00 am to 12.00 noon (Saturdays). The
Bank is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

5. Information regarding hostel allotment will be notified on Tuesday, June 21, 2005. It will also be
available on Institute’s website.http://www.tiss.edu on the same day after 2 p.m.
6. The new academic session commences on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 10.00 a.m.

thx for giving the result of tiss , mumbai...it's nice to see so many docs in list...seems i on right track now...besides theres no need to clear the mat too.i have some specific questions....can u help...
1 > wats the preparation i need to tackle admission process of tiss , mumbai..??
2 > wats the approx no of application and how many r selected eventually...??
as i need to forget my chances to get in medical pg so this que r very very imp for me...u know...do help me,

The entrance consists of an essay writing with topics given on the spot- 3 topics are given u got to rite on ne 1... group discussion takes place on the same day... a list of shortlisted candidates r called for the personal interview on d next day. the final no. of candidates selected is around 30-32 (for both hospital n health administration combined) usually 15 seats r for hospital mgmt n 15 for health admi. the no. of seats might change every yr by 1 or 2. but yet lots of waitlisted candidates manage 2 get in later as quite a few selected guys dont join... i thought dat i got in quite easily without any preparation whatsoever... i didnt waste a single day on preparing for tiss since i am more keen on doing clinical

thanks for ur eply...first of all my wishes for pujas to u...well...it was great to see the u got in without any preparation...dont know wat qualities u had for that man..as seeing the list and roll no of selected candidates it seems that 3 out of 100 r selected..well i m working in neuro medicine dept of medical college , calcutta as house physician so it same for me that i dont get time to prepare for tiss...and i cant...if u have any other wonderful piece of advice from then do tell me...can u ask ur people at tiss as u r in there now and provide me FEEDBACK ..can i get ur cell no...mine is 09433161151...thx for ur reply ..really....
