For skewed continuous data which is paired- non- parametric testWilcoxon rank-sum test
For skewed continuous data which is unpaired- non- parametric testMann Whitney Test
To test one categorical variable against another Chi-squared test

Categorical variables are qualitative not numerical. Eg. dead or alive

SE(standard Error)= SD(standard Deviation)/√n
Confidence intervals are calculated from SE
