this is a request to all the doctors preparing for next year pgm cet to contribute their opinion about different colleges in Maharashtra and the pg courses offered by them

.its so obvious that all the students are not getting in kem or say in mumbai

.as this year preference form had made blunders in ppl life so we can make ours easy if we know the kind of atmosphere we will face and if some college degree is worse than the dipoma of other......

i hope u ppl have got my point.

pls right about college,the pg courses recognised by mci,type of clinical exposure,which pg is gud,the faculty,infrastructure.......blah blah..
pls make ur contribution..
this kind of information is there in past posts but are intermingled with many other things,so we will dedicate this thread to this topic only....

good to know that someone from my college is doing all this .keep it up.
i still dont know who u are.
anyways which specialty are u specifically interested in and which areas i might get some info from friends.
e.g.
Obgy is good at pune aurangabad
actually everything is the best at bombay
next is pune in most specialties.
north indians sometimes prefer nagpur.
the rest is basically the same way as it is for undergraduation.
still if u need specifics do tell me

obviously if u have the guts to go for DNB later on a diploma in bombay is always better than an md in latur

i think its bad to bias between the colleges.of course mumbai is gr8 but that doesnt mean all doctors passing out from mumbai medical colleges are successful.let me tell u the topmost neurosurgeon in mumbai comes from GMC,Miraj.
everywhere the work is almost the same.but i'd prefer outside mumbai coz the climatic conditions.now a days excellent facilities are being made available in maharastra perpheries too.mumbai is just about crowding.
periphery gives immemorable moments.i'd always try for Mumabi though as i aspire to take up Dermatology and right now the best ones in Maharashtra are in mumbai though.
