liver failure and gynacomastia we all know but also.....
We know alcohol intake in time can cause cirrhosis/decreased liver protein synthesis/ ascitis
decreased protein synthesis alos includes less albumin
hypoalbuminaemia can cause secondary hyperaldosteronism
aldosterone decreases K+
when you treat the ascites you have to give a K+ sparing diuretic...i.e. spironolactone
spironolactone side effect------>gynecomastia!

Alcohol stimulates prolactin secretion and decreases GNRh so decreases testesteron/ estrogen ratio ---- causing gynecomastia
