For the basics you got to read 'Basic sciences for the MRCP '(Read MRCP only and not MRCPCH ).This is different book and is available in India.I do not know about other places. But Beattie is not for basic sciences. However embryology has been covered very nicely in each chapter.Do not ignore the statistics, enough given in Beattie.

hi there, i will be very grateful if someone could please answer my question which is very very important.......i was told that i should prepare basic sciences from phillipa easterbrooke for MRCPCH 1. however, i want to know whether i should study the whole book (with all the Anatomy even unrelated to paeds) or just do selective studying from it.
please advise me someone.
thankyou very much.
