Quick Scroll FAQ: How to switch over? 09.18.05 (3 years ago) #1

hi everyone
myself currently working in UK in surgery dept. had been thinking of switching over to a different specialty for quite some time. but didnt had much information on as how to go about?. but i am now planning a few things. but one thing keeps Nagging me. i had an interview few days back and i wsnt able to answer this question?. the interviewer asked why did i chose to leave surgical field. i couldnt give a sound, confident or satisfactory answer. whats the best way to answer that?.

i know there are few people who wants to switch over and few who had done that. we would be very grateful if these people can share their experiences and help us in the process, like finding the right place to apply , the specialties available, how to perform in interview ad go ahead.
i found out from this forum that there are many people in UK trying to switch over to other specialites , para clinical specialties and so, and it would be nice if we can discuss these matters here and share the information.

thanx
