harrison mentions pclitaxal -cisplatin combination as ideal for ovarian carcinoma. and 2nd cyclophophamide cisplatin combination.
parihar notes (brief notes given at the end of this mcq book) gives cyclophophamide and mephaln both can be used in ovarian carcinoma.

so i think it should be cyclophosphamide. but if cisplatin or any platinumaining other drug was given in option. it would have been the answer. but here the answer should be cyclophosphamide.

cmdt 2005 also mentions that response with cislatin/carboplatin + paclitaxal is up tp 60 -70% so they are the drug of choic no doubt.but these drugs are not mentioned here. hey mist this question was asked in which year???? it may be an old question.
ya melphelan is used in ovarian carcinoma. that i have already mentions. and kdt page 839 table 58.1 mentions melphalan ahead of cyclophophamide. but harrison does not mention it.

so after looking kdt table my infrence will be
cisplatin+ paclitaxal >> melphalan >> cyclo.
but there is no difinate refrence.
melphalan is typically used for multiple myeloma. my search is still going on. but atleast go through the kdt table.
