i think it should be (E) becoz see guyton 9th edi page 1037 figure 82 -6. it clearly shows increase in progesteron with increase in hcg. plus it states that during pregnancy it continulsly maintains corpusleutem to secrete estrogen and progesteron and maintains decidual nature of uterine endometrium also.

but i am little bit confused about A) also.

what is the answer given?????

i think again a question which should be ll except. becoz all other are true,
hcg is secreted by synsitio so it willprellal with synsitio,
syncitio is a part of placenta so it will parellel to placenta and certainly by villi. and with progesteron i have already mentioned. this is what i think
