iam egyptian doctor graduated 3 years ago and iam now resident in clinical Pathology

i wander if i can apply for the MRCPath ??

what is the requirements and what should i do for applying ?

and if i must take a period of training before applying .Is this must be in england or can i take it in egypt or any other country ?


anybody can help me ?

for part I MRCPath a one year training period in that subject suffices ,so U are eligible for part I,part II includes traing for about 4 or more years in UK but that is thru the application process to the respective colleges after getting the gmc license.pretty tediuos i guess.........all the more with the new laws for FMG in uk.

i have completed my first year FCPS training from holy family hospital rawalpindi pakistan
now i want to know that can i appear for MRCPath 1 in uk
will my training be counted there
can you give me info about DipRCPath
can i get attachment in UK after doing MRCPath without PLAB
is PLAB / IELTS necessary
what about chances or criteria for DipRCPath in Ireland

i think they don't require a 1 y training in Microbiology .. they just advice u that if u want to enter the exam it's better to be with 1 y experince


Royal College of Pathologists Examination regulations - 2008 MEDICAL Microbiology These regulations must be read in conjunction with the Regulations and Guidelines – College examinations for Membership and Diplomas. ENTRY & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
There is no specific timing for entry to the examination
Candidates should obtain guidance from their educational supervisor as to when to sit the examination. Planning should take into account planned CCT date (where applicable) but candidates should apply only when they are ready.
